Britain began imposing a 14-day quarantine Monday on travelers coming into the country — a sweeping measure meant to halt the further spread of COVID-19 that has been roundly criticized by the aviation and tourism industries. Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary said the quarantine was a “political stunt” and argued that it will cause “untold devastation” for the country’s tourism industry, not just on the airlines.
